Some of the benefits of the GPS tracking solution:
This service integrates tracking, monitoring and reporting and it can be installed at the various transportation stages of your cargo
- With GlobalTrak® you can track and monitor the condition of your cargo. A monitoring device is placed on your container or trailer and will continuously report the condition of your cargo back to you through cell phone, satellite, or wireless LAN.
- The monitoring device can be programmed to report container door activity, change in light, temperature, vibration and other sensor activities. All measures that can prevent pilferage and tampering.
The web portal provides detailed location and status information on your cargo
- You can monitor the journey of your cargo in real time through a web portal. This way you will know the whereabouts and the condition of your goods at any time during the transport.
You can receive event alerts by email on specific events determined by you
- An alert will be emailed to you based on a specific time or location defined by you. This could be a notification on a port arrival, border crossing, or a deviation from the original route.
- You can choose to receive an email whenever a container door is opened or when another of the monitoring device’s sensors are triggered. These reports will include the specific location and the information on what has triggered the sensor.
