Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
- Be the main business driver/developer for ocean CIF (FCL&LCL) business within damco Dalian.
- Promote and Market damco brand and all provided services.
- Effectively communicate/cooperate internally (vertically/horizontally) and within damco branch to ensure customers’ demand and requirements are 100% satisfied and exceeded.
- Monitor and be aware of Market trends
- Delivery sales KPIs
Specific responsibilities of the position:
- Live the APM and NAS vision and values.
- Promote and Market the damco Brand.
- Keep close co-operation/coordination with carriers. Execute the global carrier management strategy from global and country carrier management team.
- Formulate regional sales strategy and approach to market including local customer segmentation and specific value proposition consistent with overall client strategy.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients as appropriate, championing their needs and driving team work within the regional area.
- Recommend to CTM or NAS the needs from the market on the products as appropriate.
- Executed sales plan and ensure performance and KPI meets and exceeds various business targets.
- In collaboration with local BDV, ensure best practices are shared and cross-location business requirements are covered in the optional way.
Measurement / success criteria of the position:
· Measured on damco OCE and damco AIR GCA controlled volume and CM1 ratio to budget.
- The measurable results/performance as outlined in your “Key Performance Indicators”.
