The Hague, 13 March 2017 - Damco, the global third party logistics provider, has launched its new supply chain intelligence solution; a digital platform that provides customers with a suite of interactive dashboards delivering up-to-the-minute information on their supply chains. The platform is based on a scalable enterprise solution that is fully integrated into Damco’s operational systems to provide actionable data based insights.
Data is a key resource in the effective management of a supply chain, from the support that the data provides for forecasting and planning, all the way through to the tracking of deliveries to the end consumer. But, leveraging data to provide actionable insights for both tactical and strategic decision making has always been a key industry challenge.
Damco’s Supply Chain Intelligence solution addresses this challenge by delivering high-level performance indicators that allow customers to gain more detailed insights into their supply chain based on shipping profiles, carrier performance, equipment utilization and supplier performance dashboards. The new platform now gives customers the power to drive supply chain performance through unrivalled, real-time data visualization and intelligent data analytics.
