Damco set to talk ‘Rejuvenation’ at Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference 2018 Damco will exhibit for the first time at the Gartner Supply Chain Executive conference this year, highlighting its vertical sector expertise and how it is driving rejuvenation in supply chains.

24 September, 2018, The Hague, Netherlands - Damco, a leading provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management services, will for the first time participate in and exhibit at the 2018 Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference in London.

Damco will be one of around 40 exhibitors at the event in London from 23 to 25 September, which is designed for industry executives who are setting strategic supply chain goals for their organisations.
In taking part in the event, Damco is seeking to demonstrate how the latest concepts and theories can be applied in practice to rejuvenate supply chains.
With a proven track record based on long-term relationships with household names particularly in the retail, FMCG/consumer goods and lifestyle sectors, Damco is a leader in both third and fourth party logistics. Its solutions bring improved visibility, efficiency and precision to any supply chain.
A vital step in supply chain rejuvenation is to deliver insights that inform better and faster decision making. Klaus Rud Sejling, CEO at Damco: “The world is changing more rapidly than ever before. To survive and thrive, you need to stay ahead of competitors and remain relevant to consumers – today and in the long term. That means supply chains have to be constantly rejuvenated particularly as we move to an increasingly digitalized world”
“Rejuvenation is in our DNA. We have helped many brands navigate this challenge by understanding, analyzing and managing their supply chains, keeping the supermarkets full, the catwalks vibrant and the latest electronic devices within reach.”
Damco invites all attendees to visit its stand, S20 where its experts will be on hand to discuss and provide insights into the latest supply chain developments.

Key topics of discussion will include:

  • Challenges within retail; the rise of ecommerce and fall of ‘boring retail’
  • Reducing production cycle times
  • Omnichannel challenges
  • Supply chain visibility and reliability
  • Improving forecasting
  • Anticipating volatility
  • Inventory optimisation
